Philly Sour
Watergeus is a Sour Hazy Pale Ale packed with Sabro hops. We used the relatively recently discovered non-Saccharomyces yeast: Philly Sour. The uniqueness of this yeast is that it converts sugars into alcohol, but also produces lactic acid. This beer is therefore not a kettle sour but a pure fermented beer. The acidity and low alcohol content make this beer a great thirst quencher with the typical tropical aromas of coconut and ripe mango from the Sabro. Cheers!
